Very good fare, antics aplenty from Johnny Depp, a deadlier breed of pirates, stunning makeovers, super background score (especially when The Kraken is at work, slicing ships into two)

I got the impression that this was very Johnny Depp-centric. The end is extremely abrupt and too obviously contrived to let viewers know that the 3rd is on the way. A bit of sentimentality slows the movie occasionally.

Neways...if a movie has Depp in it...i have to see it...and see it , i will... :-) That coupled by the fact that u gave it a 4.5/5...how can i miss the movie?? :)
heh heh..u shud watch it for sure...wholesome entertainment...
